World Views of the Western World Year 3: The Shift Away from Christianity |
| These research-teaching syllabuses are wonderful guides and provide lists of other required resources for this classical study that will equip children to understand the conflicts in worldviews that have occurred over the past 3,000 years. Your children will not only learn what the Christian position is, but why it is true. They will see how Christianity applies to all of life. They will learn other worldviews, their impact upon culture, and the resulting effects these worldviews are having on current society. Worldviews is academically challenging and provides a good exposure to classical literature, history, art, and music. World Views Year 3: The Shift Away from Christianity catalogs the succession of world views of the 20th Century. Four very important questions are answered in the final study of world views: 1 - Why did the West reject Christianity? 2 - What were the effects of this shift away from Christianity? 3 - How are we as Christians to live in the 21st Century? and 4 - What do we as Christians have to say to the 21st Century culture? If your children are not prepared to answer these four questions, they may not be prepared to step into the 21st Century. |
